Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab arrested four terror suspects belonging to banned outfits on Saturday.

According to a spokesman, CTD Punjab conducted 26 intelligencebased operations (IBO) in different districts across the province to effectively deal with any untoward incident of terrorism.

During the operations, 26 suspects were interrogated and 4 terros suspects were arrested with weapons, explosives and other prohibited materials.

The arrested suspects were identified as Tehreeke- Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Al-Qaeda members Ayaz Khan Yasin, Muhammad Salim and Muhammad Asad, the spokesman said, adding that 1.4kgs of explosives, 5 detonators, 12.3 feet of safety fuse wire, 4.92 feet of primer cord, 4 30-bore pistols with ammunition and four banned magazines were seized from them.
