The three-day Baisakhi Mela celebrations have come to an end. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world including India participated in the celebrations. Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board ( ETPB) Habibur Rahman Gilani was the chief guest of the ceremony. The three-day Baisakhi Mela celebrations at Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib Hasan Abdal came to an end.
A large number of Sikh pilgrims from all over the world including 2600 pilgrims from India participated in the Baisakhi festival and performed their religious rituals. ETPB Chariman Habibur Rehman was the chief guest of the main ceremony.
He said that in Pakistan, followers of all religions have full freedom to worship according to their beliefs on an equal level and the government is committed to ensure safety of lives and property of all minorities.
