Reham Khan, who turned 50 this year, is thankful for the blessings this year – especially for the love that was missing from her life last year. The British-Pakistani journalist, who got married to Mirza Bilal earlier this year, asked fans to be hopeful in life, keep praying and have faith because their world can completely change in a matter of a year.

On Tuesday, Reham took to Instagram and shared a picture posing with her husband and a vase full of flowers. “If you have lost hope, if you are down today, not only do I pray that you find love and happiness but also let me tell you that from one birthday to the next, your world can change,” she penned a note for fans to be patient with the bad time in their life.

“After the most dreadful birthday last year, I can’t believe I was given so much unexpectedly. The only condition is… leave it to the power that created you! Have faith,” she concluded, implying that love came into her life this year and made her happier than ever.

A few hours later, Reham posted another video blowing out her birthday candles and wrote, “I’ve never counted the years, but rather counted the blessings. I am proud of every year of my life and make no attempt at hiding my age. Growing older is great. It makes one more interesting hopefully more intelligent too but above all, it means I’ve seen my children and my nephews grow up in front of me.”

She further counted her blessings and added, “I travelled across much of the world, met scores of great people, been amazed by the beautiful art masterpieces created by humans and of course, laughed a lot more than I’ve shed tears. This was the last cake of the day on my birthday with the hope that tomorrow there would be more coffee and cake to eat.”

Concluding, she cheered herself for the “great” life she has lived so far – and according to her, it’s just the beginning! “It’s been a great half-century and I’ve just begun to live so chin up girls. Let’s face it all with a smile and our favourite lipstick!” she wrote.
