Sohail Khan appointed Addl Secretary In-charge at Information Ministry

The BS-21 officer will replace Shahira Shahid, who has been directed to report to the Establishment Division

ISLAMABAD:

Sohail Ali Khan, a BS-21 officer of the Information Group, has been appointed Additional Secretary (In-charge) at the Ministry for Information and Broadcasting, the Establishment Division announced in a notification on Friday.

According to a notification of the Establishment Division, the officer was presently posted as Additional Secretary, Information and Broadcasting Division. He will replace BS-22 officer Shahera Shahid.

Shahid, who is presently posted as Secretary Information and Broadcasting Division, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division with immediate effect.

Khan has been serving as Additional Secretary and the Managing Director (MD) for Pakistan Television (PTV). He previously served as the director general for Radio Pakistan, as the Principal Information Officer, and as the press counselor in Jeddah.
