Unidentified men attempt to break into Jemima Khan's London home

Journalist reveals that Scotland Yard was called in and a report has been registered against them

On Tuesday afternoon, British producer Jemima Khan said that unidentified men attempted to break into her London apartment in the middle of the night, a few days ago.

The journalist and filmmaker also shared photographs of the men on her Twitter account, asking if anyone in the public can identify the trespassers. "If you can identify them, then please let me know," she wrote.

Speaking to a local news outlet, Jemima shared that she immediately phoned the police when an attempted break-in at night was made at the residence she lives in Central London.

She stated that the two males were captured on video and that Scotland Yard was called in and a report has been registered. “And then these two guys captured on camera trespassing a few weeks later in the day,” she said about the two men whose pictures she posted on her official Twitter account.

Jemima also revealed that she is not sure if the men are related and whether they are the person or two different individuals.

As soon as Jemina's post circulated online, many people voiced their concern for the What's Love Got to Do with It? producer. "I’m so sorry. This is horrific," said a Twitter user, while another individual prayed for her safety, "Prayers for your safety. May they be caught and dealt with by the law."

This is not the first time Jemima has dealt with people violating her privacy. In 2017, British-Pakistani taxi driver Hassan Mahmood pleaded guilty to bombarding her with more than 1,000 phone calls and messages after she posed for a 'selfie' with him.

Jemima said in a statement: "The incident has made me incredibly anxious at times. I would be home alone and he would call me several times and text repeatedly late at night. Sometimes he would send texts saying he would come to my house. That really frightened me."
