Courtroom Scuffle: Fourteen released on bail

The judge accepted the bail request of all 14 men against a Rs20,000 surety bond for each of them.

LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Saturday granted bails to 14 men belonging to two groups scuffled in a court room during proceedings of a case involving a property dispute. Magistrate Muhammad Imran Yousif granted bails to the men who had, on Friday, started brawling while the judge was hearing the case. The policemen present at the hearing had taken no action to stop the fight. The miscreants were eventually overpowered by the lawyers who gathered in the courtroom on hearing the noise.  The judge accepted the bail request of all 14 men on Saturday, against a Rs20,000 surety bond for each of them.
