Dog Attack: Canine let loose on minor girl

A landlord in Khanewal let loose his dog on a five-year-old girl

KHANEWAL: A five-year-old girl was hospitalised on Saturday with severe injuries after a landlord in Khanewal let loose his dog on her. While passing through landlord Abdul Wahab’s fields, Humera, a resident of village No166 10R, had reportedly requested his men to tie the dog so that she could safely cross the field. The landlord, however, unleashed the dog on the child.  She was in a critical condition at the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital. A case had been registered against the landlord with Saddar police. A Saddar police official said raids were underway to arrest the suspect.
