WhatsApp has just released a Windows client which ensures better performance, calling features and multi-device sync for users.
The WhatsApp app for windows has an interface similar to the mobile app. With the new updates, the web app loads faster and allows users to host group video calls with up to eight people and audio calls with up to 32 people.
The limits for group calls will continue to increase over time.
In addition to the new calling features, users will see faster device linking and better syncing across devices. Users can use one account over multiple devices, eventually allowing them to access WhatsApp even when their phone is switched off.
The instant messaging platform has also introduced the WhatsApp Beta experience for android tablets and MAC desktops which is currently in the early stages of beta.
