Six armed suspects in a vehicle snatched a truck loaded with buffaloes from a dealer at gunpoint near the DSP Office in the city’s Cattle Colony early on Wednesday morning.
Cattle trader Nazim Hussain, in a case filed at the Sukhan police station stated that he buys cattle from different farms and sells them in cattle markets.
Hussain said he had bought seven buffaloes worth over Rs1.2 million from the farm of Shahwani Jatoi on the Super Highway.

He had loaded the steers on a truck and was heading to Cattle Colony at 5:45am on Wednesday morning when six armed suspects in a car intercepted him near the DSP Office.
The suspects held the trader and the truck crew hostage at gunpoint.
Two of the suspects took the truck loaded with buffaloes and the others first tortured the victims then forced them into the car and drove away.
Hussain stated that the suspects left them in a thicket near Port Qasim and fled.
