Three people were admitted to hospitals after suspected suicide attempts.
As per police reports, a woman and a man resorted to attempting suicide by consuming poison, while another man tried to take his own life by jumping in front of a train.
According to officials, Riaz, a 40-year-old resident of the Samundari Road area attempted to end his life by jumping in front of a goods vehicle due to ongoing domestic issues. He suffered injuries and was taken to the Civil Hospital for medical attention.
In a separate incident, Nasir, a resident of Chak 235GB, ingested poison after an altercation with his family.
Meanwhile, Maimuna Muqqaddas, a 23-year-old resident of Mansooran, consumed acid due to domestic problems.
The police were informed of the incidents, prompting them to initiate investigations to determine the facts.
