The tortured body of a mentally challenged child was found in a car near Korangi on Saturday. After being informed of the body, the police reached the spot and shifted the body of 10-year-old Hussain to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for post-mortem.
The victim’s father told police that his mentally challenged boy had been missing since 12pm on Friday. He said that his family looked for him everywhere but could not find him. He said that later, Hussain’s body was found in a car parked at some distance from home on Wednesday.
In this regard, Police Surgeon Dr Samia said that the boy was strangled to death after being sexually assaulted.

“However, other samples including DNA have been obtained and the situation will become more clear after the report,” she said.
Zaman Town police station chief Ayaz Abbas said that the body of the boy was lying on the back seat of the car and after watching the body, the car owner Shehzad called Helpline 15 and reported the incident. The car owner was initially taken into custody by the police for questioning, who was later released.
A case has been registered against unidentified suspects under the provision of kidnapping and murder on the complaint of the victim’s father Meezan.
