Alia is a better mother than a wife: Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has had quite a busy 2022. After years-long hiatus, the actor finally returned to the big screen with two new offerings, Shamshera and Brahmastra. He also made headlines after he tied the knot with superstar Alia Bhatt, his girlfriend of five years, in a private wedding. In November of the same year, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Raha, together.

Recently, Ranbir has been busy with the promotional events of his recent film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. In several interviews, the actor discussed his films and his personal life. Recently, the actor was asked if Alia is a better wife or a mother by Siddharth Kannan, Ranbir shared, "She is amazing in both, but I would say better mother.”

Calling himself an expert of sorts, Ranbir spoke about his burping technique for Raha. He went on to add, "A lot of people probably don’t know this, especially those who don’t have kids, that burping is a big thing when a baby is born, especially in the first few months. Every time the baby feeds, you have to burp the baby at least two times. And there is a technique to it, and I have really mastered that technique."

Previously, during an interview with Good Times, Kapoor revealed their newborn is finally starting to show her personality, and he hopes she does not take after his wife.

"I hope [Raha] looks like Alia. She'll be a nicer-looking person if she looks like her. I just hope she has my personality rather than hers because I can't have two women like Alia in the house," he said. "Alia has a very boisterous personality; she talks quite loud and is vivacious. Two girls at home like that would be quite a daunting task for me. I hope Raha is a bit quieter and demurer like me so then we both can handle Alia."

Before concluding the conversation, the Rockstar actor gave a heartwarming statement about becoming a new father. "I can't even describe the feeling. It's love that I didn't even know could exist. I never realised I could ever feel this way about another individual. I thought I had attained everything, you know. I found love, got married and am surrounded by friends and family; I didn't know life could've offered me more," he shared.
