9-year-old son of security guard allegedly mauled by pet dog

RAWALPINDI:

Family members of an influential person have been accused of unleashing their dog on a 9-year-old child in the Sukho area within the limits of the Mandra Police Station in Rawalpinidi.

According to sources, the minor has been mauled by the dog.

They said the police have registered a case of the incident following the medical examination of the victim, however, no suspect has been taken into custody yet.

The father of the 9-year-old named Muhammad Sana reported to the police that he works as a security guard and his son was playing outside when a man named Muhammad Ilyas' sons called him inside his house, where their mother unleashed a pet dog against his son, leaving him seriously injured.

He said the mother of the victim rushed to the scene and rescued her son.
