Swiss envoy calls for bilateral trade

Addresses exporter's meeting at SCCI, says Switzerland keen to improve trade ties

SIALKOT:

Swiss Ambassdor Georg Steiner stressed the need for sincere efforts to strengthen mutual trade ties between Pakistan and Switzerland.

Addressing a meeting of exporters at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Tuesday, he said that Switzerland was keen to boost trade ties and enhance mutual trade volume between the two countries. Senior Vice President (SVP) SCCI Wahab Jahangir, Vice President (VP) Amer Majeed Sheikh and members of the Sialkot business community were also present. The Swiss envoy promised full cooperation and easy access to Swiss international trade markets to Sialkot exporters.

He said that bilateral trade and business relations among two countries should be further promoted.

The ambassador added that both of countries enjoyed cordial relations and said that the exchange of goods would facilitate the creation of economic relations.
