Filmmaker Nabeel Qureshi, the man behind Actor In Law, Na Maloom Afraad and Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, isn't too impressed by Shahid Kapoor’s latest web series, Farzi. Qureshi found the crime thriller “clichéd,” “boring,” and a “waste of his time.”
On Monday, the Khel Khel Mein maker took to Twitter to talk about his latest binge-watch. “What a waste of time Farzi is on Prime Video. Cliché, boring and as always, anything wrong happening in India is because of Pakistan,” he wrote.
What a waste of time #farzi is on @PrimeVideo 🙈 cliche, boring & as always anything wrong happening in india its cz of pak🫡 bus kerdo i am surprised how cum its popular ? u pay monthly subs on digital so everyone watches everything bcz it convenient and that count as views.

“Stop it already. I am surprised as to how come the show is so popular. You pay a monthly subscription on digital so everyone watches everything because it’s convenient and that counts as views,” he concluded while dissing the show’s credibility for views.
A user, disagreeing with Qureshi in the comments, wrote, “Nabeel Bhai, it was exciting filled with some excellent performances. The writing was better in Family Man but this one is also a fun ride with loads of entertainment. As for Pakistan, there is just a mention of the borders nothing against it. Respect everyone's opinion but loved it.”

Another one wrote, “Nationalism is the power of India. This power keeps India's diversified ethnic groups united. And anti-Pakistan sentiment is the fuel of this ‘nationalism’.”

This power keeps india's diversified ethnic groups united.
And anti-Pakistan sentiment is the fuel of this "Nationalism."
A tweep, while agreeing with Qureshi, added that the OTT platform at least gives them options to watch shows and films on a daily basis. “Pakistani films only ever release on Eid. At least we have options here,” read a tweet.
Bhai aap logoon ki traf say tu sirf Eid pe dekhnay k liye milta hy or apni film bhi us ott platform pe detay Hain Jo muft main bhi nhi dekhtay na sound digital na picture koi bolay tu aap log sir larkioon ko reply detay ho awaan ki suntay nhi Kam az Kam dekhnay ka option tu hy ye
