Bricks: Withdrawal of sales tax on demanded

MUZAFFARGARH: The Muzaffargarh Kiln Association is concerned over the non-action of the authorities with respect to its demand for the withdrawal of 16 per cent sales tax on bricks, a representative of the association said on Friday. Talking to the media, Sardar Ata Mohammad Khan Gashkori said that on the one hand the government withdrew the withholding tax on ginners after they went on strike. “On the other hand, kiln workers have been on strike for the last 25 days. But there is no change in the attitude of the authorities,” he said.
