There’s a new debate online regarding which Bollywood actor is a better dancer after the iconic Madhuri Dixit and Ranbir Kapoor’s candidacy in it has divided the internet. Many felt Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapoor, Govinda and Tiger Shroff were unfairly cut off.

It all started after Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor's dance number Show Me The Thumka from their upcoming film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar became a hit for its choreography and composition. On Thursday, a user posted a clip from the song on Twitter and wrote that Ranbir is the “best dancer after Madhuri Dixit.”

While most people agreed with the comparison, this user went overboard and said they feel like Madhuri isn’t even close to Ranbir in terms of “grace and effort.”

The die-hard fan of the Tamasha actor wrote, “Don't think Madhuri has ever been this effortless. Neither was she this graceful. Ranbir is the greatest dancer ever to grace the screen. In fact, we may not be able to see this sort of greatness ever again. He is Lata of dance – only better.”

To prove that these two are the greatest, a user posted a clip from the song Ghagra which featured them together. “I agree. Look at when these two collaborated together in one of my favourite songs,” read the tweet.

Some people, however, argued that Ranbir’s steps are “too repetitive” and “boring.”

Shahid’s fans took the comparison to heart and started spamming the micro-blogging site with his popular songs like Mauja Hi Mauja and Gulaabo. “Not when Shahid Kapoor exists,” wrote a user.

To prove that Hrithik is a better dancer, a user shared the main step from Bang Bang and wrote, “Just this one step is better than anything Ranbir has ever done.” Another wrote, “Hrithik Roshan did not jump around like a frog his whole life for you to say this.”

Directed by Luv Ranjan, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar stars Anubhav Singh Bassi, Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor, Hasleen Kaur, Rajesh Jais and Ayesha Raza. The romantic comedy will release in theatres on March 8. Ranbir also recently wrapped up the shoot of his other film, Animal which stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in key roles.
