Transfers: Sohail Altaf becomes governor’s secretary

PESHAWAR:

The Government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) ordered a number of transfers on Friday.

Energy & Power Department Secretary Dr Sohail Altaf, a DMG officer of BPS-20 level, was reassigned as Secretary to the K-P governor, while the current secretary to the governor, Captain Sikandar Qayyum, a DMG officer of BPS-20 level, was transferred and posted as Inter-Provincial Coordination Department secretary, relieving Administration Secretary Hifzur Rehman, a BPS-20 officer, of the additional charge.

Transport Department Secretary Zafar Iqbal (BS-20) has been transferred and posted as Energy & Power Department secretary. Consequently, K-P Information Department Secretary Captain Azmat Hanif Orakzai, a BPS-21 DMG officer, has been authorised to hold the additional charge of Transport secretary.
