LAHORE:

The Punjab government has decided to tackle the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) 'Jail Bharo Tehreek' as per law.

Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi chaired a cabinet meeting on Sunday which agreed that the law would take its course while dealing with the PTI court arrest movement.

Caretaker chief minister directed the police chief to take strict action against those whenever try to take the law in his hand.

Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah warned that the government will counter the PTI's court arrest movement in a way no one could imagine.

Addressing the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers’ convention, he taunted that on one side Imran Khan had announced the Jail Bharo Tehreek while on the other hand, he had gathered his party's females to defend himself against a possible arrest.

He said the government would not put PTI workers behind bars who were misguided by Imran to create anarchy in the country.
