TikTok Trivia game to launch with $0.5m in prize money

Users must be above 18 and residents of the US to participate in the games

TikTok is launching a series of live trivia games, which will be played via livestream each day between February 22 and February 26.

To ensure maximum participation in the new games, TikTok has announced a $500,000 cash prize pool that will be split among all the winners.

To be eligible for the games, users must be above 18 and residents of the US. The games will be streamed live on the official TikTok account.

The games will involve categories such as lifestyle, beauty, sports, music and John Wick questions, as the event has been sponsored by Lionsgate and its upcoming film John Wick: Chapter 4. The live streams will be hosted by the famous TikTok creator James Henry.

The Trivia games will start on February 22 and end on February 26. The launch of Trivia games is an attempt by TikTok to increase its engagement in live sessions.
