RAWALPINDI:

The head of the Awami Muslim League (AML), Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, has said that the poor do not have bread, but there are 88 ministers in the cabinet who say they will not take salaries and are going to use Zardari’s petrol.

Speaking outside the Lal-Haveli, Sheikh Rasheed referring to his 15 days of imprisonment said he went to his ‘in-laws’ for 15 days. The lives of the poor have been made hell, and I have told Imran Khan that it is now or never.

He said our fight is not with the army and bureaucracy but with those who buy members. They are a group of five families, and the biggest thief is Zardari. He has destroyed the PML-N, and Bilawal visits a country because he had to search on a map.

Sheikh Rasheed said that Lal-Haveli does not belong to anyone; it is mine. He also warned those who robbed his house that by Sunday they should return everything; otherwise, he will file a case.

He maintained that the army is ours, but soon the army will understand that transparent elections are necessary to save the country. The army should make everyone sit together and hold elections. If we wait, then Pakistan will become a prison. If we want to restore the image of the army, then we have to hold elections in any case. The image of the army should not be destroyed.

The head of the Awami Muslim League revealed that he stayed in jail for 15 days and met different people, to whom he made it clear that he will stand with Imran Khan as long as he is against corrupt leaders. He also thanked Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and other leaders of the PML-N who condemned his arrest.

Sheikh Rasheed warned that the time is coming; if the elections are not held, there is a risk of civil war, the country is going towards famine, and people will loot shops. He added that Russia was broken when the economy was destroyed, and we also have 10,000 containers standing at the port.

Sheikh Rasheed said that captain Safdar is saying that the game is over and the money has been digested, and the workers of the Non-League are also with Imran Khan.
