CTD police arrest two ‘target killers’

Suspected target killer Muzammil Kala was allegedly involved in killing a traffic police official eight years ago

KARACHI:

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police arrested a suspected target killer, identified as Muzammil Kala, who was allegedly involved in the killing of a traffic police official eight years ago.

"In 2014, the traffic police officer named Muhammad Mansha was performing his duty in the Nazimabad area when the alleged target killer, Muzammil Kala shot him dead and fled from the scene on his motorcycle with his accomplice," said the CTD officers.

Meanwhile, the CTD arrested another alleged target killer, Muhammad Baig, during a raid. The arrested accused had fired at the rally of the then Chief Justice of Pakistan in 2000.
