Suspect held over ‘abusing’ traffic cop

Accused was driving a luxury vehicle with police lights, Pakistan flag

LAHORE:

A suspect driving a luxury car with Pakistani flag and blue lights was arrested in Shadman over misbehaving with a traffic patrol officer.

Reportedly, the suspect Ammar was allegedly driving a land cruiser fitted with a Pakistani flag and blue police lights.

A traffic patrol officer on Jail Road signalled him to stop, however, the suspect sped away, triggering a police chase.

The suspect then allegedly resorted to insulting the officer and misbehaving with him, leading to his arrest by Shadman police.
