Google is bringing major software upgrades to Android 14, including the ability to turn the smartphone into a webcam.
As of now, a third-party app called Camo is being used to turn android phone cameras into webcams. After understanding the demand, it is expected that Google will add this feature to Android 14 update.
Using an Android phone as a webcam became really popular during the pandemic, but you've typically had to install a third-party app to do so. You may not have to do this in the future, though, as Google is adding support for turning Android devices into USB webcams!

Previously, Apple introduced a similar feature named Continuity camera which allowed users to turn iPhone's rear camera into a webcam for Macbooks.
To do so, users should have iOS 16 on the iPhone and macOS Ventura on the MacBook.
Apart from this new feature, the new update will allow android phones to connect with satellites directly.
