Reforms committee: Abid Shaban appointed RRMC member

He is a certified fraud examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (USA)

ISLAMABAD:

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has appointed Abid Hussain Shaban, Advocate Supreme Court, as member of the Reforms and Resource Mobilisation Committee (RRMC).

With BS from the University of California, Berkeley, Shaban is an advocate of the Supreme Court as well as Sindh High Court.

He is a certified fraud examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (USA). He joined Shaban & Company in 1980 as a tax associate and in 1988 became a partner. Since 2007, he has been a principal of the firm.

According to a notification issued by the FBR, other members added to RRMC include Zeeshan Ejaz, FCA, Partner KPMG, Taha Baqai, Director Tax and Legal Services PWC and Habibullah Khan, ex-member IR operations FBR.
