At least five people were killed and four others seriously injured as a result of firing during a clash between two groups over a property dispute in the village of Chungi Bandi in Sarai Saleh..

Police said that three of the injured were in critical. Police arrested five nominated accused.

During the clash, Abid Shah, Abbas Shah, Zulqarnain, Haider, Ashfaq Shah were killed by the opposing group. Mazhar Shah along with his other brothers and sons attacked the Abid Shah group. During the firing, Kazim Shah, Nazakat Shah and Rahmat Shah were injured. Mazhar Shah died on the spot.

Sarai Saleh police shifted the injured and dead to the trauma center Haripur. According to police, five people were killed and three were injured in the firing. The police arrested five of 10 nominated accused. The police also took a vehicle used to carry arms and also arrested the driver. A case related to the four kanal land was decided by the court a week ago in favour of the slain victims. After the court decision, the deputy commissioner had handed over the land to the deceased.
