Kangana Ranaut is back on Twitter and she is already making headlines for her statement. The 35-year-old actor feels that all the Khans of Bollywood should be grateful for the love Indian audiences give them and that all rants about fascism in the country are “unfair.”

Talking about how the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan’s success is a testimony of India’s love for Khans, she responded to a tweet praising the Sidharth Anand directorial. “Big Congratulations to Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone for the runaway success of Pathaan! It proves 1) Hindu Muslims love SRK equally 2) Boycotts controversies don't harm but help the film 3) Erotica and good music works and 4) India is super secular,” read the tweet of the user.

Kangana, agreeing with the post, wrote, “Very good analysis. This country has only and only loved all Khans and at times only and only Khans, and we’re also obsessed over Muslim actresses.” She further added, “So it's very unfair to accuse India of hate and fascism. There is no country like Bharat (India) in the whole world."

Kangana’s Twitter account was restored two years after her controversial post on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi led to her being banned from the micro-blogging site. On the first day of the release of Pathaan, she lauded the film, stating such projects “definitely work” at the box office. However, soon after, the Queen star slammed the film for depicting the “enemy nation Pakistan in a good light.”

Her tweets were reportedly a retaliation to Karan Johar’s Instagram post, where he celebrated the action thriller’s phenomenal performance at the box office and wrote, “Love forever trumps hate.” Taking to Twitter once again, Kangana claimed that the film’s success was only due to “India’s love and inclusiveness towards a film called Pathaan.”

On the work front, Kangana will next be seen essaying the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in a biopic titled Emergency. She has also announced that she’ll be starring in Chandarmukhi 2. Tejas, due to release in May 2023, will see her playing the role of a female Air Force pilot.
