Suspected BLF operative caught
Mochko police arrested a terrorist of the banned terrorist organisation Baloch Liberation Front (BLF). In this context, the Kemari Division Police detained three terrorists from the banned terrorist organisation during an encounter on January 11 in Gulshan-eGhazi Ittihad Town, according to a spokesperson for the Kemari Police.
Following many days of surveillance, the Ittihad Town Police located and apprehended their fellow terrorist Shafi Muhammad from Hub River Road in Moach Goth on the identification of the arrested suspect. Arms and grenades were recovered from his possession. The spokesperson claimed that the arrested terrorist worked as a sleeper cell for the outlawed terrorist organisation BLF.
He has also been responsible for attacks in Balochistan and Karachi on members of the security forces. He also disclosed that he received Rs 250,000 for injuring security forces personnel and 0.5 million for killing them. On January 2 of this month, the arrested terrorist and his three other accomplices struck a police motorcycle patrol party near the Saeedabad Rapid Response Force (RRF) headquarters, injuring police constable Muhammad Hanif. This case was registered at Saeedabad police station. Additionally, it includes ATA's Anti-Terrorism Article-7.
The arrested terrorist and his accomplices are charged with robbing 0.8 million in cash, two mobile phones, and weapons at a petrol pump on Hub River Road on March 31, 2016, whose case has been registered at the Mochko police station. Ittihad Town Police has registered a case against terrorist Shafi Muhammad under provisions of the Terrorism, Explosives Act and Illegal Weapons.
