Capital Crime: Two arrested for murder

Tahir had been called to the canal where he was killed and his body placed inside his car and dumped in the canal.

KHANEWAL: Two people were arrested by Khanewal police on Thursday on charges of killing a trader. Earlier the body of Yaseen Tahir, a resident of Arifwala, was recovered by the police from Mailsi link canal. Police officials said Tahir had been called to the canal where he was killed and his body placed inside his car and dumped in the canal. They said the suspects were identified as Asifa and Ejaz. They added the suspects had been held in the police station for initial questioning. The deceased is left behind by two wives and six daughters.
