The Sindh High Court (SHC) has sought the approved bail order of Member of National Assembly Ali Wazir and the progress report on his case from the trial court on his petition about his transfer from the central jail Karachi to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).
The hearing was held on Ali Wazir’s petition in the SHC against the decision of the trial court regarding his transfer from the central jail to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The petitioner’s counsel submitted that the petitioner Ali Wazir has been in the Central Jail Karachi for two years. In two years, Ali Wazir has met his family only once.
There are three cases against Ali Wazir in Karachi and three in K-P. Despite the bail, the trial court has restrained his transfer of custody to K-P. The court adjourned the hearing for four weeks.
