KARACHI:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Leader in the Sindh Assembly Khurrum Sher Zaman rejects the results of the Karachi local government election held on Sunday.

Zaman accused the PPP and the Sindh Government of rigging the Karachi local bodies' elections on Sunday. "The entire country and the world saw the various video clips of rigging done by PPP candidates and workers," he said.

The PTI leader also aimed his canons at ECP blaming the commission for not stopping the rigging and probing it given the videos that were seen all day on various news channels and social media platforms.

He pointed out that more than 24 hours have passed, but the results are still not being provided to the candidates. This is also creating doubts and suspicions of political engineering happening behind closed doors.

Therefore, Zaman asked the PPP, given its track record of poor electoral success in Karachi, how did they supposedly win 100 UC seats? PTI Parliamentary Leader assured the voters of Karachi that PTI will fight on all forums to ensure the accuracy of the results and that the mandate of Karachiites is not stolen or manipulated.
