RAWALPINDI:

Real estate business leaders Monday blasted the incumbent government for what they called destroying the real estate sector through anti-business policies.

Real Estate and Federation of Realtors Chairman Musrat Ejaz Khan, flanked by other office bearers held a press conference and lauded the previous government for creating ‘favourable’ conditions for the business during their tenure.

The chairman said 52 related sectors were also suffering due the deteriorating conditions.

“The economy of the whole world came to a standstill during COVID-19, but the previous government did the best for the sector”, he remarked.

He said there are over 0.2 million real estate offices across the country and around 1 million families depend on the sector.
