The Institute of Business Administration has joined a group of seven other top business schools in South Asia, six from India and LUMS from Pakistan when it was awarded the coveted certification by the South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS).
SAQS has its headquarters in Hyderabad, India. Its main function is to rigorously evaluate business schools in the region against the quality parameters of the European Quality Assurance System. IBA’s dean and director, Dr Ishrat Husain, said that this is just beginning of a long journey upon which they have embarked. The next hurdles they hope to overcome are European and American accreditation.

Please keep me updated - I am keen to note how many perceive this as an academic achievement!
its nice to see Pakistani institutes get foreign accreditation. Being a SZABISTIAN I would wish to see SZABIST getting more and more American and European accreditation.

Finally some good to hear from Karachi. Nice Job!
IBA you have made us so proud. Keep it up!
InshAllah start of a great journey! Ive sat through various SAARC meetings at IBA for the regional accreditation protocols and I can proudly say that IBA met most of the guidelines without any much hurdles and thus we stand a very good chance of being ranked among the top 100 business schools of the world. The only thing stopping us is a world-class campus which within the next 3 years would be up and running. So in short its the BEST time to be associated with IBA now :)
IBA Forever!!!!!
