One dies of Covid in Punjab

The condition of 20 patients across the country was critical, the NIH said

ISLAMABAD:

One patient from Punjab infected with the coronavirus died while 3,339 tests were conducted across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the data shared by the National Institute of Health (NIH), 17 Covid patients were reported in the last 24 hours while the positivity rate across the country remained at 0.5%.

The condition of 20 patients across the country was critical, the NIH said.

One Covid patient was reported in Islamabad while 205 tests were conducted in the federal capital, where the positivity rate remained at 49%.

In Lahore, 724 tests were conducted and one Covid patient was reported, while the rate of positive cases in the city remained at 14%.

Three hundred and two Covid tests were conducted in Peshawar with six cases reported. The rate of positive cases in Peshawar was 1.99 per cent.

In Karachi, 183 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours with three cases reported. And the positivity rate remained at 1.64%.
