Trade: Russian team visits FPCCI head office

Eager to help Pakistan in transport-related projects and awaits a response from the government of Pakistan.

KARACHI: The Russian Federation is eager to help Pakistan in transport-related projects and awaits a response from the government of Pakistan with regard to a proposal submitted in this respect, head of the Russian Federation’s Trade Mission in Islamabad, Yuri Kozlov, said on Thursday. During a visit to the head office of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), he said that the two countries had constituted the Russia-Pakistan Intergovernmental Commission in 2010, which was working to further streamline economic cooperation between the two countries. FPCCI President Dawood Usman Jakhura praised Russia’s important role in global politics and economics.
