The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday extended the bar on recovery of super tax while hearing pleas for stopping its collection.
The court issued directions for clubbing all the petitions.
Justice Jawad Hassan heard the plea of Hunza Mills, in which it was stated that the collection of super tax was against the law.
Last week, while terming it as “discriminatory” and “ultra vires to Constitution”, the Sindh High Court (SHC) struck down up to 10 per cent super tax.
The court barred the government from charging one to 10 per cent super tax.
