Punjab Health Minister and Central Punjab PTI president Dr Yasmin Rashid said on Sunday that the worst inflation caused by the federal government had broken the backbone of the people and 2023 would be the year of struggle.
Addressing party workers at Azadi Chowk and Yateem Khana, she said, “We will continue our struggle against the imported government.” The federal government was afraid of general elections, she claimed.
Dr Rashid alleged that the federal government and the Election Commission had attempted to avoid holding elections despite court orders.
The provincial minister said it was the responsibility of the Election Commission to hold polls.
