Court seeks arguments in Durrani’s case

Durrani said that he trusts the judicial system of the country and expects justice

Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani on Thursday said that he has been appearing in the case of assets beyond means for the past four years. “It is good news that finally the court has sought arguments in the next two days.”

Talking to the media outside the Accountability Court, Karachi, Durrani said that he trusts the judicial system of the country and expects justice.

Earlier, Durrani appeared before the accountability court along with his lawyer. Meanwhile, in the case of the underage girl who had ran away to Lahore to contract a marriage of her own choice, East District Additional and Sessions Judge heard the arguments for the transfer of case.

The counsel for the complainant - the girl’s father ­ said that the suspects who kidnapped and illegaaly contracted marriage with his underage girl are using delaying tactics whereas, she wants to come to her parents.
