Suspected killer of KMC inspector nabbed

KARACHI:

The counterterrorism police have arrested the suspected murderer of an inspector of the KMC in an operation in Ranchore Line on Tuesday. Three accomplices of the suspect are already in custody.

A team of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Sindh police, arrested the accused, identified as Salman, alias Hukla, son of Taj Muhammad, in a raid near Mehfooz Shermal, on Nishtar Road, in Ranchore Line, according to a statement issued by the CTD.

Salman is allegedly involved in the murder of Muhammad Ali, son of Abdul Waqar, an inspector of the KMC, the statement added. He was nominated in the FIR registered at Nabi Bakhsh police station together with his three accomplices Kashif, Shakir and Ibrahim, alias Topi.
