Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Friday paid glowing tribute to the martyrs of Army Public School and said the students and teachers who embraced martyrdom in the tragic incident are our national heroes.
Expressing solidarity with the parents of the martyrs he said, "the entire nation still feels the pain and agony of the Army Public School tragedy where the ruthless enemy committed brutality and barbarism against little angels."
Pakistani nation and armed forces have been at the forefront to make the world safe from terrorism.
The nation is united against anti-Pakistan elements who are trying to spread hatred, chaos and prejudice, Sharjeel Memon said and stressed on the need for the implementation of National Action Plan in letter and spirit.
Spokesperson of Sindh Government and Advisor on Law Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that December 16 will always be remembered. Students of Army Public School (APS), Peshawar, gave sacrifice of their lives in their struggle for education when the terrorists attacked their institution.
He expressed these views at the opening of Ghulam Muhammad (Chairman) School in District South on Friday and later while speaking to the media.
He added that no matter how many conspiracies are hatched, this nation will not leave the pen and the book. They will fulfill our commitment regarding sacrifices.
Responding to a question, Wahab said, I have left but the work, which I started, continues and it will be completed as per plan.
He said, Pakistan People's Party is constructing and repairing roads and parks in all districts of Karachi. But there are some quarters who say that no work is done in the city.
He said that China-cutting was done in the parks before me. The offices of the political parties were established there. Wahab said, Waseem Akhtar was unable to get the money from KPT. Soon, another recovery of Rs600 million will take place, he added.
