Thieves shot dead a youth while he was chasing them who had stolen his buffalo.

The RPO took notice of the matter and called for a report. In another incident, a civilian was injured by the firing of robbers.

The police took possession of the deceased's body and shifted it to the hospital for postmortem and started searching for the thieves.

Sixteen-year-old Saddi Ahmad son of Ishaq, a resident of Chak No. 546 GB Gogira, was chasing the thieves who had stolen a buffalo in the village when the thieves opened fire on him. A bullet hit Saddi Ahmed in the head, and he died on the spot.

As soon as the information was received, the police took possession of the body of the deceased and shifted it to the hospital for postmortem and started raids for the arrest of buffalo thieves.

Meanwhile, RPO Sarfraz Ahmad Falki went to the scene where DSP Tandalianwala Malik Zafar Iqbal gave him a full briefing.

On which the RPO issued instructions to improve the patrolling system by adopting an effective strategy and also ordered the police to ensure the safety of people’s life and property.

In another incident, some bandits tried to rob 22-year-old Abdul Majeed, son of Bashir Ahmad, near Sheikhupura Road 77 Rab Lohke Kharrianwala and on resistance robbers shot him in the leg. He was shifted to a hospital. Police mounted a search for the robbers.

In June this year, a man was robbed of Rs2.6 million by armed robbers in Dijkot.

After committing the robbery, the suspects fled under the cover of fire. Imran Ali, Omar Zaman and Mohammad Ashfaq, residents of Al-Noor Garden, had been travelling in their car with the money they had drawn from the bank.

The robbers, who had apparently been tailing the car, burst the tyres of the car with gunshots.

As the car screeched to a halt, the suspects robbed Ashfaq of Rs2.6 million and fled under the cover of fire. Police arrived at the scene of crime and collected bullet casings.
