Repairs to cause K-P power outages

There are necessary and unavoidable repairs of a number of high voltage transmission lines in the province

Several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be without electricity in the day time this week because of necessary and unavoidable repairs of a number of high voltage transmission lines in the province, the power utility announced on Monday.

According to the announcement, power supply from 220 KV Mansehra-Ogi transmission line will be suspended on Tuesday (today) from 9 am to 4 pm. Because of the power suspension, consumers of 11 KV feeders connected to 132 KV Ogi and Buttal Grid will be affected.

The power supply from 132 KV Jamrud substation will be suspended on December 13 (today) and December 17 from 9 am to 3 pm. Due to which the users of 11 KV Hayatabad 5,4,3,2,1, 8, Old Hayatabad, New Hayatabad, Khyber, Khyber 1, Express 1 feeders will be affected.

Electricity supply from 132 KV Hayatabadgarh substation will also be suspended on December 13 (today) and December 17 from 9 am to 3 pm. Due to which the consumers of 11 KV Khyber, Khyber 1, Hayatabad 9, feeders will be affected.

Similarly, the closure of 132 KV University Grid Station from 9 am to 3 pm on December 13 and 16 will affect the consumers in the areas of 11 KV Gulabad and Tajabad, University Campus, Canal Town, Regi, Rahatabad Old Bara Road, Academy Town, Circular Road and others will be affected.

Electricity supply from 132 KV Warsik Power House grid station will be suspended on December 13-15, 13 from 10 am to 4 pm. Due to which the consumers of all 11 KV feeders connected to the 132 KV Warsic Power House grid will be affected.
