Tents meant for flood-affected people in Balochistan provided by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) were allegedly used during a mammoth public meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) in Quetta on Thursday.
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman had also addressed the party's convention at Ayub Stadium attended by thousands of supporters of the religious party.
The tents were being used on the racing track of the ground which can be clearly seen in the videos circulating on social media.

The Express Tribune tried to speak to the party leaders to get their point of view about the use of tents. However, none spoke on the record to give the party's take on the matter.
Rather, the party leaders who were present at the public gathering blamed the administration for using the flood tents.
The local administration however stated that the ground was completely under the administrative control of the religious party.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zartaj Gul, taking to Twitter, lashed out at the federal government the JUI-F is part of.
"Tents and other flood #relief consumables donated to PDM Federal Govt by @UNHCRPakistan @UNHCRUK are being used in #political events of JUI-F headed by certified misogynist thug Fazlur Rehman," she wrote.

Zartaj said that all this was happening when many flood-affected people were still displaced and suffering in open fields.
