MUZAFFARGARH:

A five-member Korean delegation led by its head, Lee Heungsu, visited Muzaffargarh on Thursday to review the flood-hit areas.

They conferred with the Commissioner of Dera Ghazi Khan, Liaquat Ali Chatha, at a meeting and assured him of their maximum support for the affected people.

The meeting was held at DC’s Office, and it discussed in detail a mechanism for rehabilitating flood-hit people at the earliest since the harsh winter would make survival more difficult as time went on.

Chatha said the Punjab government had reserved billions for compensating the victims. He said 61 people lost their lives during the devastation.
