The Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered the federal and provincial governments, NAB, FIA, and other agencies to submit their replies to the petitions against the raids on the house of the opposition leader in Sindh Assembly, Haleem Adil Sheikh, and secret inquiries against him.
Haleem Adil Sheikh and his attorney Raj Wahid Advocate appeared before the Justice KK Aghaled two-judge bench on Tuesday.
But no agency, including FIA, NAB, and Anti-Corruption Establishment could submit a response.
The government lawyers sought more time to submit a reply.
The bench expressed displeasure at the failure of the federal and provincial institutions to submit a reply.
"No action should be taken against the opposition leader and his family," the court ordered.
The court also sought details of the cases and inquiries against Sheikh while adjourning the hearing until December 22.
The court was hearing two petitions against police raids on Sheikh's home and for details of cases and inquiries against him.
