Drowning: Man drowns in Jhelum canal

The rescue team fished out the body after two hours of hectic efforts.

SARGODHA: A young man drowned in lower Jhelum canal while taking a bath on Wednesday. According to Rescue 1122 officials, Sherazi Park resident Muhammad Shahzad, 28, along with his friends also went to the lower Jhelum canal for a picnic when he drowned. The rescue team fished out the body after two hours of hectic efforts. The body was discovered near Ludewala Bunglow and rescue officials have returned it to the family.
