Karachi violence: Uncertainty affecting other bourses as well: LSE MD

Lahore Stock Exchange managing director Aftab Ahmed Chaudhary says that due to adverse conditions in Karachi, the economy is suffering severe losses which has affected the country’s stock markets. The government should take immediate steps to improve the conditions in Karachi so that the stock markets become stable and investments come to Pakistan, he added.


Chaudhary said that Karachi is the hub and if this city gets hurt, it affects the whole country. He said that economy is already suffering because of terrorism and now target-killings in Karachi are taking their toll. He also said that downfall in the stock market leaves negative effects on the economy.

dr. Aslam khan | 12 years ago | Reply like i've said before get your money out from all stock exchanges there is going to be heavy loses incurred by cotton industry this yr due to reduction in cotton prices.
