Under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Bhakkar, Imran Hussain Ranjha, police started a crackdown on illegal gas refilling stations. During the operation, a large quantity of illegal LPG gas cylinders was seized.

Deputy Commissioner Imran Hussain Ranjha told The Express Tribune that gas filling equipment, compressors and generators were also seized during the raid. Cases were registered against 18 people for refilling gas.

The crackdown against the mafia running antipeople business would continue. A cylinder had exploded during illegal gas refilling on Jhang Road the other day. As a result of the explosion, four people had been seriously injured.
