Minister hails clerics

Yasmin welcomes support from International Mashaikh Council, says Imran only leader to raise the issue of Islamophobia

LAHORE:

Provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid thanked the International Mashaikh Council for calling a meeting to express solidarity with former prime minister Imran Khan on Wednesday.

She said while addressing the conference that Khan was the only person who raised the issue of Islamophobia in the whole world. She said a system of cruelty and injustice was prevalent in the country.

The minister said Imran Khan had gone to the people only with the message of real freedom and the murder attack on him was intolerable.

She said the PTI chairman had the right to file an FIR against anyone he suspected.
