Five mega projects for Pindi get govt’s nod

The government has approved five mega projects in the Rawalpindi district which will cost over Rs140 million.

The tenders of all of these projects have already been issued and will be awarded after the opening of the bids on December 8.

Under these projects, a tourism rest house will be built on Chevra Hills in Kotli Sattian, a new tourist destination in the Rawalpindi district. The state-of-the-art rest house, which will provide homelike environment facilities for tourist families, will cost a total of over Rs40 million and will be completed in four months.

Four new tube wells and a water supply scheme will be installed in Police Training College Sihala.

Nasir | 1 year ago | Reply This doesn t cater the needs of inhabitants of twin cities as they are still wilfully dependent upon water tanker mafia as well as sluggish n foolish water boring system despite paying their monthly bills to wasa regularly . Why not the tube wells may be installed in every locality of pindi n cantt to redress the acture water shortage of the lucklustere citizen since ages ....like that so called police college .
